Hi Everyone, I am quite new in the BMW world and just bought a 2010 R1200 GS demo from a dealer it had 4600 km when i bought it. I am finding that all the clutch is at the very end of the throw of the lever and the friction point sometimes seems to move. (I understand it's a dry clutch and don't slip it or do anything to stress it) I just brought it in to the dealer and had them bleed the clutch and it is still at the very end... so I have bought new adjustable levers. So I have two questions first does it sound like there is something wrong with the clutch? and second can anyone point me in the direction of a how to on changing out the clutch and brake levers?

Very end meaning lever furthest from the grip? If so that is somewhat normal. Be aware that clutch fluid *rises* with clutch wear and that a fluid level above the max mark can cause issues.

Aren't the stock levers adjustable? They certainly are on my '05?

Hi yes the very end of the stroke furtherest away from the grip... There is a very minor adjustment on my lever. I tried that and it really didn't make a difference. I will check the fluid level to make sure it isnt above max

Went to the dealer today and they are going to replace the clutch under warranty:) I have only put on 1000 km and it was acting weird from the day I picked it up. I guess the camera crew that had it as the demo liked to slip the clutch
