Having decided that I'm probably not going to do any significant rides this winter, I went ahead and suspended my Garmin Inreach plan. It's only about $38/mo but I probably won't need it again until April-ish time frame. That's a $144 savings from leaving it activated. Suspending it and reactivating it is cost free and easily done on the Inreach account screen under your login.

For my R1200GS(A) brethren that live in cold/snowy places, consider this post a public service announcement to save you a little cheddar to spend when there's enough traction for a spring ride.

Yes that makes perfect sense.

Although I'll be keeping mine active for snowmobiling season
