Is maybe AUX lights bracket that goes bellow the beak?

Mystery bracket
Hi, I purchased a used tinted windshield for my GS, received my package with a note from the seller : I have found the mounting bracket and added it to the package.
Note: seller now rides a Ducati and have sold his GS years ago.
The windshield was perfect, it's already installed on my 2009 R1200GS...
Any idea of what that bracket is for, no number or brand on it.

According to the BMW parts fiche that part is # 45 54 7 699 874, Handle Rear, $265.50. Part number 5 in the image.
The equivalent part on a F800R, 07 2005 - 2014 is # 46 54 7 678 739, Handle Rear, $208.27. It is number 1 in the image below and bears little resemblance.
