Under the Luggage Plate

Where did you mount your PDM60? Not a lot of room under either seat.
I took my pannier racks and that luggage plate off. Plenty of room to the rear of the RDC module, forward of the tail light. Works well for tapping the Tail Light for a trigger to energize the PDM60, too.

under the rear seat though I had to move a module back a bit for the PDM.
Also, it's a lot easier to tap into the tail light wire on the side under the rear right rail. There's a bundle of wires there--under the red tape. Yes, the rear rack needs to be removed. The wires are very flimsy so take care. Over 50k trouble free miles. I programmed it in the beginning and have not needed to revisit, but because the programming was a bit confusing for me I made my own instructions and pinned them to a wall. Unless it changed, you need a windows computer

Mine's been in this location for over three years with lots of water crossings and hard off-road. No problems at all and I like that I can see the circuit status without opening up the seat:

Here's what I did...with my PDM60

I eventually decided to put mine in the nice open space just forward of the taillight. You can still see the circuit lights of the PDM60 by simply removing the rear seat and looking under the plastic seat base to the rear. I also added a small grounding bus bar on the transverse structure just behind the ECU under the rider's seat. It's pretty tight in that location, but it does help clean up the ground wiring.

Bus Bar

Another option in lieu of using a bus bar is a WAGO connector. They make 2 conductor to 5 conductor connectors. The 5-conductor connector is approximately 27mm W x 14mm H x 21mm D (1.063" W x 0.551" H x 0.827" D). WAGO is UL listed for 600V, 28 to 18 AWG. Very easy to use and re-use, with very little space required enabling it to fit in tight spots.

A 10-pack is the smallest lot I could find on Amazon for the WAGO 222-415

There are several knock-offs on Amazon, I don't know if the knock-offs are as good as WAGO connectors.
