I'm planning on buying a used R1200 GS Adventure and I had a few questions. Hoping you all can help me:

1. This would be my second bike, but first used bike. Is there anything specific I should be looking out for when seeing the bike in person?
2. I found two R1200GSs, 2015 - ~4000 miles, 2016 ~19k miles. They're both similarly priced. How would you go about choosing between them? They both have similar options and seem well cared for.

I'm sure these questions come across as too generic. I'm relatively new to the motorcycling community and I honestly don't know what I don't know. So any guidance or research topics are greatly appreciated.

2013-16 are pretty much the same bike. Comes down to options on them and accessories added. Then depending on how you plan to use it (on road vs off) in regard to options and you'll be closer to which is better.
