Without any tyre pressure warning my 2010 GS has thrown up a RDC (tyre pressure) fault.
The yellow triangle is lit and the dash shows the tyre symbol and "-- -/ ----"
According t the owners manual this indicates sensor error or system failure , which happened a few months ago and then cleared itself, the dealer at the time put this down to signal interference This time no such luck.

If it is a tyre sensor fault why have both wheel readouts gone blank witout warning? Which leads me to believe it could be the RDC unit itself located apparantly under the rear seat unit.

Has anyone else had this problem and what was the outcome?

Update:
Thanks to the Motoscan app I managed to isolate the problem to the front sensor battery. The app also allowed me to clear the fault which resulted in the warning light going off and the rear pressure readout returning.
Motoscan can also be used for programming replacement sensors.

I now intend to replace the sensor battery which is detaled in depth on YouTube.
