I have a question and maybe you guys must have already solved this...My rear case rattles pretty badly. It is secured but the rattle is killing me. The case has some play in the area marked in the attached pic. Is there a part/rubber gasket or something that is missing there, cause those rear legs of the case that slide into those L notches sure has a lot of play that causes a lot of rattle of the case. There is some scuffing as well in the marked area so I know the case is rubbing intensely on the bracket plate below and is not snug....

Any advice / homemade solution would be helpful...

I bought bike and previous owners have shimmed the top case will all manner of things. Rubber, carpet etc to thwart the rattle.

fortunately I don’t like top cases so my remedy is remove them.

Exactly in same places I have same problem. Solve it easy with part of internal tube in rectangle form near around "tooths". In this way case step on rubber pads and vibrations dont exist. Fix it with double side tape. Really reliable.
When is possible will send you picture.
