Soo looks like the old garbage bag over the seat won't work with these... saddles. And removing it every night is getting tedious. I think what I need is a thin ripstop shower cap that will fit over the seat. Anyone found one. I might just make something if I can't find it.

What about just carrying a rag or grabbing a paper towel and take 5 seconds to wipe it off?

This is one of the reasons I like seat beads or Sit-N-Fly seat covers as even if there is a bit of moisture on the seat the covers allow air to get under you to dry thing out while you ride.

When I travel, I carry a lite $15 Amazon full cover. Come in a bag and travels pretty easily. It keeps dew and most rain off the bike but also things like sap when camping in the woods. In addition, if I stop in a national park and hike so I'm away for a few hours, it solves a security issue. I find that without the cover, the bike and gear attract lots of attention in the parking lot; folks stopping by. But fully covered, folks just walk by without even looking. Yes, I still cable lock everything, as best I can but the full cover is a big part of the security solution.

Not sure how that will keep his seat dry...?
It won’t keep it dry but allows your rear to stay above any moisture. Looks like he got a solution with the backpack cover…I was queuing off of this comment:

A 60l (liter) cover will cover front and rear seats and tucks under the edges with the internal bunji. Next test is in the rain snow and wind... if I can manage to get back out b4 winter ends.
