New to me, 2008 r1200gs. The front brakes were squeaking as I came to a stop which drives me crazy. I replaced them with EBC pads. Cured for about 100 miles then it starts again. I disassemble, clean everything, and use a different kind of lubricant in the back of the pads. I ran a steal brush over the pads and rotors. Reassembled and it was cured, for about 100 miles.

The squeak has returned like a mouse in the wall.

Any suggestions? Different pads? Should I have turned the rotors or replaced them with the pads?

The only way I managed to cure the squeeky pads on all of my previous bikes was with copper grease on the back of the pads and all sliding parts. It has to be very thin film applied.
Copper grease has never failed me.
