I have a 2014 R1200GSA I picked up couple years ago. The bike included a QC3.0 USB voltmeter/charger (like below) but I never tried to use it until recently. I have it plugged into the right side port below the speedometer. However, when I start the bike, it flashes 0.00 for a second and goes away I tried charging the phone anyways but does not appear to be doing anything. I don’t know if there is a problem with the QC3.0 or the female plug/circuit itself. Has anyone experienced this? Not sure if I need to replace the QC3.0 or go with a different setup. Thoughts please?

Agree with mikec in recommending the Touratech USB dual outlet. Installed one 2 years ago and it has worked great. Haven't opted for the Touratech relocation kit for the original outlet. When I want to run the Cyclepump, I use the Battery Tender SAE connecter coming off the bike's battery. Just had to swap the 3 amp fuse within the SAE cable fuse holder with a 10 amp one.

I had one that plugged into the BMW (Powerlet/DIN) port, died quickly. I had one the plugged into the Battery tender pigtail (SAE plug); it died. I got another for the pigtail, it's working fine. Sooner or later I'll swap the BMW power port for a proper USB charging port.
