After lubing the rear drive splines on my 1250 GS I noticed this rubber plug on the floor, where does it belong.
It looks like bumper stop but I can’t find where.

How dis you put it back on?

After seeing the diagram from Joe I gave the plug and location a good clean and pushed the plug back into the housing.
