I have the stock Michelin Anacee 3 on my 2016 R1200GS. With 5500 miles on them, they are worn to just above the wear bars on the rear tire. I have only owned the motorcycle for about the last 1000 miles and do not mind the Anacee and the way it performs, but do find it too be very loud on the freeway. I have been shopping for tires and am thinking about purchasing either the Michelin Road 5, or the Pirelli Scorpion Trail 2. My riding is primary city roads and freeway cruising. However, I am not afraid of a spirited ride on a twisty country road, or dirt fire trail. I live in Daly City, California where we frequently see heavy fog and roads that are wet with fog so wet traction is important. Any feedback offered would be greatly appreciated.

I didn't know the sale was still going on for the Dunlop Trailsmart. I have tried those back in 2019 but they cost me over $300. . It's a very nice grippe tire that works well in the rain. It's quiet and should last 6k. A very good tire at about $100 for the set.
I have a pair in my garage if the Dunlop Mission tires I have on now ever wear out.

Thank you for the feedback. I went to the ChapMoto.com website and watched their tube video on their ratings for the best Adventure tires of 2020. If the price on the Trailsmart was not as low as it is I would have ordered the Dunlop TrailMax Mission, although the Michelin Anacee Adventure looked interesting as well. I really like the fact that the Dunlop TrailMax Mission is being built here in the USA. With the pricing on the Dunlop TrailSmart being what it was currently I ordered two sets of TrailSmart Radials for $222.88 shipped to my door. I was told by the representative on the phone that they are being discontinued, although I don’t see this being stated on the Dunlop website. I figured that for that price I would have fresh tires for about 2 years of riding. This is a tremendous deal.
