If you tap into one of the can bus wires you run the risk of frying the computer. ie the lights. I bought a Hexez can to run my accys off of.
So posi tapping to the 7.5A fuse wire could create issues?

Decided to utilize one of the Cansmart circuits, soldering a "pin" to the K2's yellow trigger wire...
I need to free up the Cansmart circuit to add lights. I'm considering connecting to the 7.5A fuse wire but concerned it might create Canbus issues. Looking at my own fuse box, it looks like the 7.5A fuse wire is the thicker one, red with blue stripe?

Would like feedback on where to attach the yellow wire from the Innovv K2’s power converter. It needs to be a switched wire, e.g. a taillight wire. I don’t have a wiring diagram. If the insertion requires splicing into an OEM wire, I’d also like to know how to do it. I have very basic wiring skills.
Visit 'A Bike Thing' on Youtube. He has several videos on the Innovi Camera and the instal, including using a Posi-tap to access a Switched Power source. Well worth a look.

Finally got around to changing the yellow INNOVV K2 trigger wire wire power source. I disconnected it from the Cansmart Aux circuit, and posi tapped it to the 7.5 amp-fused blue/red wire Turned on the bike’s ignition. IIRC, at this point the icon lights on the Innovv DVR should cycle a bit, then the video camera icon should light steady on. The bike is in the garage, so I don’t expect the GPS to light steady, but what I’m getting is the WI-FI, GPS, and Video camera icons continue to cycle on/off. The camera video files displayed on the phone‘s INNOVV K2 app show both front and rear are working. Seems to be good to go. I’ll ride Monday and post results.

P.S. sorry for the very slow feedback.

Have thought about getting one of those INNOVV kits.
Curious to hear how it turns out.

Update: After a non-stop ride around the neighborhood, I removed the micro SD card from the DVR and put it into my PC. The DVR recorded two 10 minute segments without issue, then next few segments were short and unusable, but the last two segments recorded without issue. Possibly the DVR sorted itself out?

I put the SD card back into the DVR and will ride again tomorrow. BTE, the DVR is set to record 10 minute segments.

Checked the DVR last night and all is well. All recorded segments were 10 minutes. To monitor the cameras while riding, I think you have to put the phone (android) into airplane mode, turn off Bluetooth, and find the Innovv Wi-Fi channel(?) on the phone. You can view front, rear, or both while riding. However, I don’t think you can use the phone while connected to the Innovv wi-fi. My unit is about two years old, so maybe the newer units don’t have this issue.
