Curious about anyone’s experience and recommendations for a more comfortable seat for the new 2024 R1300GS. The stock seat seems to be OK for about 2 hours, then the discomfort sets in. Checking online, it seems like many of the usual providers are not yet making an aftermarket alternative. Please let me know what you are seeing out there. Thanks.

It's a brand new model.....literally, would imagine it's going to take at least 6 months for aftermarket to start showing up. An airhawk or any number of the 3D printed pads should suffice you for a spell.

Mine came with the BMW high heated seat.
It has extra padding, so it has about .75" taller foam than the standard seat.
My longest day so far was 440 miles and I wear padded bike shorts under my kevlar riding jeans and my butt never got sore.
The 1300 stock seats are adjustable with a lever on the bottom side of the seat and someone (Wunderlich I think) makes replacement rubber grommets for even more adjustment fore and aft to level out the seat.
I have an Airhawk, and needed it for long trips on my 1250GS, but don't think I will need it on the 1300.
An added plus with the high seat is I can stretch and let my legs hang off the footpegs and they don't touch the road when the bike is motoring along in the high adaptive ride height position.

Russel Day long makes a great seat and it fits the 1300gs and gsa. I have the sport version which allows you to reach the ground easily and stand for off roading. As opposed to the regular version which has more support for sitting. Aslo, they are able to transfer the BMW heated seat element.
