hello everybody,my name is sinan and i live in las vegas.i bought this gs with 82k miles about 10 months ago and now it has 93k.after i got it i changed all the plugs,coils,fuel pump,air filter etc.bike has been amazing since 4 days ago.
when i was coming back home it suddenly cut out and i had to coast to the side of the road,the lights were on so it was like fuel was just cut off.when i hit the starter nothing happens,no crank.dashboard was on and no warning lights at all.it was half mile away from home so i was able to push it home.
since then i cancelled the fpc,no luck.check the fuel pump assembly (it was no fun since the tank was 3/4 full),all looks good.then i shorted the starter connection with a screw driver and the engine turns.i removed one spark plug to see any spark but there were none.checked the other side,no spark as well.i removed one injector and when cranked no fuel as well.i opened and cleaned the kill switch housing but nothing again.
im buffled,i have been riding for over 20 years and owned more than 30 bikes and im a decent home mechanic.this is my second bmw and my experience is limited with beemers.any idea would be appreciated.
