I had a Gen 1 ezCAN that lasted about 4 years, but I was running it at the edge of it's rated limit. The current version had about 2-years of fantastic service before the bike and I met a distracted driver. Have not gotten around to adding the aux lights on the new 2024 R1250 GSA Trophy yet, but since the wreck in April I've only put on about 800 miles. Getting better, but not quite ready to go all out yet.
p.s. Looked hard at the 1300, but discovered they took away my two most used switches (aside from the run/stop and turn signal) and buried the traction control and ride adjustment in a menu screen. I could deal with the put-a-bag-over-her-head-before-you-ride-her looks, but take away two functional HOTAG switches and that's a deal breaker.
