Hi All,

I should really have put this thread in the accessories thread but its a bit of "General Chat" and "Accessories" so here goes...

Does any one use a bag/carrier over the pillion seat on their GS?
I have done a bit of research on this and not come up with much... I already have a variable top box which is fantastic but wondered if anyone was using a specific type of case.bag etc.

Tail Bag

I ordered and installed an OGIO tail bag.

Sorry about the sideways pic's but you get the idea.

I went to HomeDepot and got two packs of 27" X 1" velcro which had two strips each, four total. I used three and have one spare.

I could move it further back if I wanted to but it does not bother me where its at.

Its not the biggest bag in the world, but I didn't want big. Its hold a full rainsuit, a spare shirt, and a bunch of my paperwork.

Without the raincoat, it could hold a laptop and other stuff.

here is a link to the website.

Ogio Stealth

Regards,

Went to the local Army-Navy surplus store and bought a Tex-Sport duffle made out of screaming yellow vinyl for about $30. I remove the pillion seat and lash it back there for long trips and it's kept my sleeping bag, bivy, and Hennessy hammock dry through several downpours.

To get on/off the bike, I have to John Wayne it and use the left footpeg like a stirrup as I cannot clear the duffle otherwise due being as flexible as a warped 2 X 4.
