Was riding my new to me GS on my first long (100mi) ride and towards the end I got a "check oil lvl" message. I pulled over, put it on the center stand and waited about 10 min like the book says and there was oil showing above the bottom line. After restarting the bike, the message went away and never came back.
When I got home I snapped this pic after the bike had cooled for about 30-40 min. There's clearly oil in it, and it's right where it was before I started riding (I checked it this morning).
Any idea on why I may have gotten the message? The bike in question is a 2017 GSA and was fully serviced prior to purchase, so oil should be fresh.
