While doing routine maint. on my 2006 R1200GS I noticed that the pivot bolt on the right side of the centerstand didn't look right. Thinking it had simply loosened up I tried to tighten it. I then discovered that the bolt had broken off in the pivot bushing! Has anyone else had any issues with these bolts breaking? I park the bike in the garage every day using the centerstand and don't want to find it on its side some morning.....

Definitely seems to be a running theme with habitual centerstand users. Apparently the bolts are not that strong. McMaster-Carr sells replacement grade 8 bolts that work in there.
