The clutch on my motorcycle engages only at a far point of the handle. I want him to join at an earlier stage. How can you direct? r12050gs Is it necessary to open or close the direction screw at the base of the handle?

The knob on the lever will is not for engagement point but rather to move the lever in/out to fit the length of your fingers.
The engagement point is not something that is adjustable and in some instances certain bikes the enjoyment point would vary as the clutch pack heated up..
What year is your bike, how many miles and riding style. Possible its time for a new clutch??
