I have done this a few times now as shown for my 2009. Never yet took the driveshaft out all the way to inspect the bearings in the front which would probably lend itself to also checking the swingarm bearings.

The splines and U-joint at the FD more often than not are the problematic ones but for me I do like to check, clean and lube the upper splines and u-joint for peace of mind.

Yeah its not a bad job pulling arm out, i need to do that job again and film it, so watch this space lol
