This morning the gear indicator display went blank on my 2013 r1200gs LC. It was during rain and heavy traffic when I was using the clutch a lot and the engine was hot. It came back on after a few minutes when I picked up the speed a bit and was in 3rd gear. Is this something that I should worry and bring it to the dealer to have a thorough check? Thanks in advance for your comments!!

Welcome to the forum. It should start in gear with the clutch in, unless your clutch microswitch has failed or is out of adjustment.
