Hi Everyone - Just purchased my first GS, a 2024 R1250 GS Adventure. Looking forward to learning lots from the forum. First step - install machine art moto x heads and Touratech crash bar reinforcements. I think I found the torque specs on from jimvonbaden but if you have any tips on install, I'd appreciate them!

I learned that they are NOT compatible just before you posted this reply haha. I'm trying to decide which one stays. I'm doing 99% street riding and the MAM stick out a bit from the cylinder head so I'm thinking the reinforcements may win.
When you installed the MAM did you put WD40 on the rubber pits that touch the engine?

No WD40 required. The difficulty was the small stainless screws that mount from bottom of the covers. Be aware. Cross thread very easy.
