NAV 6 and Basecamp Made Easy?

Basecamp is a pretty powerful tool for creating and managing routes and tracks. People get turned off by the user interface because it doesn't act like google maps but it'll do just about anything you could want to do if you hold your nose and just deal with it. It might take a while but you'll get used to it and find yourself only cursing at it occasionally.

My Basecamp-fu is strong but now I'm new owner of a zumo XT I need an XT For Dummies guide to show me all the cool new stuff there. Right off the jump, it's got a bunch of map choices on it including topo and National Parks and looks like it also includes the red light and speed camera data base without having to buy it as an option?

I used Basecamp to successfully load up the XT with a bunch of my custom POIs and the tracks for the NEBDR. It seemed pretty easy but I feel like there's some new functionality there lurking just beyond what I know.
