Hi, just joined the forum, I have around 40 years experience on Jap bikes now looking to buy a GS, the shaft drive and low centre of gravity and low down torque are the attractions;
From the little I know of these bikes I think I'll look for a liquid cooled model,
hoping to avoid buying a lemon anyway so I'll try and read and learn as much as I can here. Thanks for letting me join this group.

Thanks! as long as the bucket of bolts doesn't break my heart and keep on going!
The Japanese bikes have a big gap in that they don't offer a shaft drive adventure tourer anymore, their focus is all on smaller bikes these day.
