Hi Folks,
Ive always fancied a GS but never dared to try one - my normal steed is a 1996 Harley MT350 (modified to 560) ((US version is MT500e).
Anyway, so I got one, 43k miles 30th Anniversary Edition, rode it 3 hours back from the sale 2 months ago but not since - been too busy (kids, work yada yada).
Anyway, lots of questions, see you in there.
Cheers

Welcome and nice bike.
I also have a 2010 GSA which I’ve had 2 and a half years. I’ve taken her to North America and all over Europe and put 50,000 miles on the clock since I collected her.
I don’t know if you do maintenance yourself, but I’ve taught myself virtually everything and apart from the expense of the spare parts, they are pretty straight forward to work on.
I get most of my spares from a company called BMW Motorworks based in Holmfirth.
Nippy Normans is another great website for accessories.
Probably the best YouTuber to follow for maintenance videos is a Belgian guy who calls himself The Old Mechanic.
Anyway, best of luck with your machine and enjoy. They truly are magnificent!
