I want use the following soft panniers:
I am wondering if they will mount ok on that curved rack design.
I am in Australia so if you have options: "Is it available down under?"

Krons: many thanks for a speedy reply. That ATACAMA system looks the goods. No doubt the whole system would damage my bank balance but maybe worth it. I have quick release TUSK soft panniers on my old Kawasaki Tengai 650 and that works in a similar way. Unfortunatly TUSK stopped making the rack for GS1200. You have given me an option well worth considering in that plate but just maybe i will find aftermarket racks that are flat

Budget-wise I use the $120 BMW adapter plate with $200 Tusk Pilot soft bags. Plate can be bought separately for any soft bag.

The Nelson Rigg you posted look like a great option as I wish my Tusk Pilots were fully waterproof instead of needing dry bags.
