Not my thing,have ridden plenty of times with the temp in the mid to high 40's (Centigrade), my biggest concern has always been covering up enough to prevent wind burn.

 

Rickster, I am also thinking about that unit. Since I don't own a car if I want to go out and about it has to be pretty early. If you pull the trigger be sure and give us a review.

Jolly, it's not about riding "plenty of times" in the heat, in AZ it is EVERY DAY 40+ C and the lows at night are 30 C. Windburn is a cold weather phenom, stop riding naked, put some clothes on and you will be fine. ; )

 

Slowriding, Right. I remember 1989 had 143 days of 100 F (proc 40 C) or greater and 2011 had record of 33 days over 110! So yeah, I'd like the ability to enjoy rather than endure a ride in the heat. BTW, what part of AZ you in?
