New guy here with a question regarding tail light modulators/flashers. I did a search and didn't find any recent posts. I am considering adding this to my 2016 r1200GS. I would like advice on this subject. Thank you in advance.
Is this too good to be true? $6.99 delivered? Has anyone installed this device? This is my brake light mod.
I have a R1200GS 2010, with the led brake light
I have bought this brake light flasher.

Its easy to attach into the wireing. When the brake lever is applied, the led brake light gives four short flashes,
followed by four slower flashes, and then goes steady on. The canbus generates no fault code :wink2:

$3.99 to Canada and $6.99 to U S is what I read.Its $3.99 :laugh2:
$3.99 vs $115.00. :surprise:Check out the Suprabrake3.
Plug and play and programmable. Works fine for me on a 2017 R1200GS. I will say the seat rail on the back has to come off but it's not a real issue, takes about 30 minutes.

Hmmm..... there is a disclaimer that comes with the resistors warning one to keep them away from painted surfaces as they may melt the paint. Aaaarrggghhh. Maybe I don't need the LED or I can just live with the "light out" warning.Hi Southpaw,
I think that a ride to your BMW dealer, and ask them to change the settings to a led rear light.
Those resistors works well allthough they produce a lot of heat, as they have to fool the canbus software that there is this 5/21Watt lamp, you know.
