New guy here with a question regarding tail light modulators/flashers. I did a search and didn't find any recent posts. I am considering adding this to my 2016 r1200GS. I would like advice on this subject. Thank you in advance.
No idea, but have not seen it called that. It's always Dynamic Brake Light and it's included with ABS Pro, I think.hi everyone, newbie here and will be picking up my new 2016 R1200GSA maybe in a month, but more realistically April.
So my canadian dealer paperwork has an option called "control brake light". Does anyone know if this is the same as dynamic?
Curious if it is and why Canada would have it activated but not US
cool! let us know. Maybe you could ask the techs over there what is required to do it? Is it software, hardware, firmwear upgrade, or some switch, or "secret" pressing of a certain sequence of buttons. You can't find out any of that. There's a black hole of information about it. It could be a DIY job, or not.If I can get it turned on while in Europe, perhaps just telling my dealer that I have had that done and don't change it will be enough. I assume the worst might be a fix it ticket when I return to the USA and I'm good with that.
Did they give you any idea how to turn it on, or just a deer in the headlights look?so I went in today to finalize my paperwork and asked about that listing "control brake light", and it is indeed the dynamic brake light which is part and parcel with ABS Pro.
unfortunately the latter, but I will ask a couple leads I haveDid they give you any idea how to turn it on, or just a deer in the headlights look?
youtube link? thanksI just put a Skene P3 module on my GSA. It does brake lights, turn signals and hazards. I did a YouTube video of the install. They work great. I got a set for my S1000XR also.
Is this too good to be true? $6.99 delivered? Has anyone installed this device? This is my brake light mod.
I have a R1200GS 2010, with the led brake light
I have bought this brake light flasher.

Its easy to attach into the wireing. When the brake lever is applied, the led brake light gives four short flashes,
followed by four slower flashes, and then goes steady on. The canbus generates no fault code :wink2:
This is a quick video on our youtube channel:

$3.99 to Canada and $6.99 to U S is what I read.Its $3.99 :laugh2:
$3.99 vs $115.00. :surprise:Check out the Suprabrake3.
Plug and play and programmable. Works fine for me on a 2017 R1200GS. I will say the seat rail on the back has to come off but it's not a real issue, takes about 30 minutes.
