2014 1200 GSW with 48,000 miles...

Rear RDC has started showing rear tire pressure for maybe 5-10 miles upon startup ..then goes blank.
Does this everytime bike is started and ridden.
Sometimes, rear pressure will return, then disappear.

Yesterday, I got a pressure warning come up on dash....Rear tire pressure too high ..74 psi!!!!
Stopped and checked pressure with guage...46 psi (as tire was hot).
Continued to ride with warning remaining on dash for a few hours.

Resumed riding after lunch stop to find warning message was gone.

Battery in RDC is failing or possible main RDC unit faulty???

OK. I replaced both front and rear RDC sensors on my 2014 1200GSW a few weeks ago during a tire change.
I ordered these sensors from a fellow in Utah, not China and was assured that they were new sensors. I have no doubt that they are new.
Install went smoothly with my HEX GS911 syncing the sensors successfully.

First 3 days of riding since install, all was fine. On 4th day, REAR sensor would read tire pressure for 1/2 a day, then began to to work again and has been fine since.

Yesterday, FRONT sensor stopped working and I got a Tire ALERT on my dash. Stopped and checked tire and pressure and all was fine so I kept riding. Tire Alert stayed on most of day, then went out.
Since then, the front sensor seems to work for a few miles and then goes out for rest of ride.
This happens on every ride.

Could this be my main RDC control unit failing??
I do have a HEX EZcan plugged into it.

Is there a way to test the strength of a RDC sensor while it is still in tire?
Can the dealer do this?

Update to Post #4....
Started to ride this morning, BOTH sensors worked for approx. 1 hour. I shut the bike off during a stop.
Upon starting and riding, FRONT sensor did NOT display and approx 5 miles later, I get the TIRE ALERT again telling me I had lost pressure.
Checked tire with guage and all was fine.
About 45 minutes later, the Tire alert shut off, and the front sensor worked.....for approx. 10 miles.
Tire Alert came on again.
Finished for day and will clear faults with my HexGS911.

Any ideas or experiences with this type of issue??

Thanks for input guys.
Jet, I did not use the re-learn function, just put the code on the sensors.

I'm on the road now in WV and haven't had reliable wifi to use my netbook to re-learn the sensors.
I'll try that when I get home next week.

Update to Posts 5 & 9

This morning, Front sensor worked for approx. 1/2 hour, then went blank.
Tire Alert came on and off around 3 times today. Front sensor did not work rest of day.

Message every time from Tire Pressure Alert was front sensor no data, front tire is out of limit of operation.
Front tire 74 PSI, Rear Tire 42 PSI.
The 74 PSI (front tire pressure was 36 PSI) message for front tire has me thinking the RDC control has issues.
Will check with dealer when I get home.
