wow.I have just installed a Sena intercom system in our helmets and am most impressed.Easy to install and easy to use. No more having to turn my head and shout to my missus. There is also options to connect to other bluetooth appliances.I only want to speak to my wife and use my cellphone.

I have the SMH also and I like it. Sometimes it's just like riding in the cage with the wife sitting beside you. Witch could be a bad thing. It's nice not having cables to unhook every time you get off the bike.

Broke off one of the little pins on the main unit a few weeks ago, only had them for 6 or 7 months. Sent it back to factory and they replaced the unit with a new unit, free. Very satisfied with the service they give me.:D

Both

I fitted a pair of SMH 10 a few years ago, and have been very happy with them.
A few months ago my helmet dropped on the floor landing right on the unit. it bent all of the pins on the bottom row of the main unit, and just a word of warning, don't try and bend them, they all snapped off.
No chance off buying just a main unit in Australia, they are permanently out of stock.

My partner ordered a new set for Christmas but she ordered the SMH 5.
I use a Nolan N102 helmet and the SMH 10 works ok, but I was never happy with the amount off wind noise from the back seat, which was in a normal full face helmet.
I fitted the SMH 5 unit into her helmet, and the wind noise is all but gone due to the smaller stick on Microphone.
Both very easy to use. The SMH5 is a smaller lighter unit, but seems to work better.
All in all, if anyone is thinking of fitting a pair off intercom's I would recommend either of these units.

As a mate said, " you spent $300 so you could talk to your partner on the back? I would sooner have spent $300 not to"
Each to their own.

For our trip through the Americas, my riding buddy bought a new Sena bluetooth setup for himself and his wife and I stuck with my rather elderly N-Com system. His failed totally as we turned south from Prudhoe Bay (about three weeks) . Mine was still going strong when I turned at Ushuaia and headed north again. I left the helmet (N102) in the bin in Buenos Aires but stripped the N-Com out of it. Hopefully I will be able to use it again.

Mind you, I never tried to use it for rider to pillion chat. Shirl just gives me a smack on the back of the head when she has something worth saying. :)

Depends on exactly what you want to do and which Zumo. If only for intercom with another unit and voice directions from any bluetooth zumo then yes, no problem. If you want to bring a phone into the bluetooth pairing set up then things start to get interesting. If you want to do the latter, post up phone and zumo model info to get the instructions. Or we might point you to some other threads (on other sites even) that cover that info already.

Okay, the 350LM doesn't pair with a phone so that actually makes it easier. It just does directions over BT.

So you will pair your Sena with your phone first, then use the Sena instructions for Selective pairing and pair the 350. I think that should do it. Sena's current manual covers the selective pairing.

Oh, and that is for the Sena SMH10. Not sure about the 5 being able to do the selective pairing for the second device.
