I have a cold weather glove similar to these but I also carry a set of light weight MX gloves for hot days. Both are Alpinstar.

I have a pair of gauntlet's for winter riding but for 80% of my riding I use TrueFit goat skin work gloves.

I'm not looking for ultimate crash protection I more concerned with wind/sun/weater protection. These gloves are also thin and comfortable and I can operate my iPhone with them on.

For $10 I find these Decade gloves to be hard to beat. More comfortable for me with the knuckle armor removed. Spring/Fall/Winter (with HippoHands) they work well. I wear lighter summer gloves.

Aerostich deer skin ropers are my go to unless cold or raining, then I have a pair of Firstgear TPG Axiom gauntlets that aren't made anymore that have proven quite water resistant and still give you plenty of dexterity. I HATE bulky gloves and any hard armor, some protection is better than no protection for me.......I must be comfortable.

Lee Parks DeerSports PCI gloves have been my go to gloves for over 10 years. Well they lasted over 10 years and over 100,000 miles. The tips of my left hands two middle fingers wore out from the clutch lever and the left thump wore from pushing the blinker switch. When it real hot I switch to summer gloves but I haven't found a par of those I like or that last. When it real cold I switch to heated gloves but they also don't last more than a few years. But the vast amount of riding are with the DeerSports. I just bought a new pair a few months ago and I fully expect them to last another 10 years. Tip,,, get the black ones because the two color gloves (black/tan) look like crap after a few years..
Edit: I went down twice with those gloves and while they got scraped up my hands didn't get hurt and the gloves were still usable.

Held Steve Classic. They also come in short and long finger versions. Perfect for my stubby fingers that often leave empty finger tips in other gloves. Plus the Kangaroo leather is super soft and stays soft after getting wet. It’s also the most abrasion resistant leather type. I use mine daily for short and long distance rides, except in temperatures below 35F

I too am a fan of those gloves and my pair lasted well for about 7 years. I wanted to give the Aerostich deer skins a chance, and I like them a bit better to be quite honest.

Klim Induction for 80 & up
Lee Parks Deer Sport for 55-80
Lee Parks Deer Sport PCI under 55
BMW GS(?) rain gloves.
I've used Aerostich elkskin insulated gauntlet gloves up to 80, love the suppleness. Still have a pair, the Lee Parks fit better though.

For hours of riding in rain, rain gloves are worth it - but only if they go on to perfectly dry hands. Most time I just ride with what I'm wearing, it'll dry out eventually. Rode in driving rain one time with the Deer Sports and I swear I wrung 1/2 pint of water out of the pair.

Another vote for the Held Steve gloves. Had the previous version when they were still made in Germany and the 'roo leather lasted 20+ years. Finally developed a stitching issue on the middle finger that nobody seemed to be able to fix. Also survived a high speed getoff at the track with just a few scrapes. The fact that they are washable and not affected by water is about as good as it gets. Nice that they make long and short versions with accurate tables for hand measurement.

Have two pairs and both were "fitted" by soaking them in buckets of water and then going for a ride until dry. They fit, well, like a glove...

Also have the Sambia non-goretex and Airstream 3 gloves. The Sambias fit is all wrong vs their chart. Had to go 2 sizes bigger to get a pair that I could get on. The Airstreams were sewn wrong and one hand is weirdly tight over the thumb, even after the water soaking treatment. Guess that's what you get when it's all outsourced rather than in house.

I went through 3 pairs and finally feel I have a winner. There the HELD Held Air n Dry II
I've heard good reviews and was curious what you all are wearing?

Great gloves and have a pair of these! I’m a big fan of Held. I especially appreciate their two chamber versatility.
I have the Held Airstream 2 for hot weather, and a 12 year old pair of Held Steve gloves for nice weather touring.
For very cold weather, raining or not, I have the Spidi Alu-Pro Evo H2Out glove. Very warm, waterproof, moderately good protection and good tactile feel of the controls.
I have a pair of Klim Badlands GTX long glove I bought for cold weather. Great fit, feel and protection, and very waterproof. But compared to the Spidi, they are frankly not that warm.
