Hi,

I'm about to get a set of wunderkind ergo + handlebar risers :

https://www.wunderlich.de/shop/en/handlebar-riser-ergo-41970-111-1.html

Anyone tried those on? I know they care not ajustable like the rox ones, but they are second hand and available.
A couple of things in mind :

- the instructions say to relocate the cable tie and that is sufficient. In practice, is it, or are the cables under excessive stress during tight turns ?
- I have an xs308 givi tank bag. As it stands, the side belt part of the bag hits the kill switch when I turn too far. What's the damage going to be like with those? Incompatible ? I'll have to remove the side belt at the very least I suspect.

Finally, being 6.0, I presume those risers can only help, not only for the standing up (rare occasions) but generally longer trips for confort ?

Thanks

Ayep, I don't have experience with those risers, but given that the effort to relocate them is minimal, I would suggest you go for it unless something about the Wunderlich risers doesn't work.

The hardest part about relocating the cables is tying them down again, and since your risers already call for that, you might as well just relocate them.

I own these and love them! I did not move or relocate the cables at all and they work fine. I also got the quick adjustment levers so that I can quickly adjust the handlebars when I stand up and ride off road, which is not all that often but still I do like the quick adjustability. I will take some pictures and upload them later

Great thanks for sharing.
As second hand items I decided to get them, not a big risk. But I suspect they will indeed hinder somewhat with the tank bag. Will see and decide what to do based on a few rides ! Apparently they take a little getting used to, the ride dynamic is different.

Does anyone what the default / factory handlebar angle is? I noticed my brake fluid and clutch compartments are at a slight tilt with the hand bars straight ; I wonder if that has been somewhat modified by the previous owner?

Well I'll update my own post, I figure this may come in handy for someone.

The XS308 Givi tank bag doesn't get too much in the way, with the ergo+ handlerisers. I've had to remove the strap with the side pockets, and even then, full lock hits the bag, but the bag gives in for the missing centimetre, so not critical.

I was surprised by the fact that I didn't have to fiddle with the cables ; on the instructions manual wunderlich mention the zip tie has to come off, to be replaced with another on the frame, but quite frankly I don't see how that would change anything, and more importantly, even without that, the cables don't seem to be under stress, even on full left lock.

On a side note I find the wunderlich screws of iffy quality. They bend quite easily.

I've yet to test the new setup, but all is in place now!
