3 years ago, I installed Cyclops led on my 2009, huge difference. Easy modification, just replace the H7 bulbs and ride (led controller needs some wrangling to insert it in the headlight housing but, that's all)

Anyone have suggestions for brighter head lights for a 2010 R1200 GSA?
Welcome to the forum. Moved your post to this existing thread. Lots of newer style led assemblies on eBay, Amazon and the like…Matt Gecko is a great choice for not much extra.

I upgraded my headlight on 2011 1200gsa. It looks great and the result is perfect. Now I've got that silly message about headlamp failure. How can I get rid of it?
Welcome to the forum.

I would contact the seller. First I recall seeing one of the LED conversions on the oil cooled bikes having warnings. Like other LED swaps it likely needs a resistor due to not having enough current draw so the CANBus thinks the bulb is out.

Thought I'd share my recent experience LED bulbs. I just upgraded my 2010 r1200 GSA to LED. I replaced the stock halogen h7 high/low beams and The h11 BMW aux light bulbs with ones from Auxito on Amazon.

Amazing difference. The bike previously had dismal lights, and now they're the best motorcycle headlights I've ever had. After 30 or so min of idling in the driveway, and another 20+ miles of riding at night, I have no "LampF!" CANBUS errors on my gauges or any other issues. It was only about $80 for all 4 bulbs. Plug and play, no modifications of any kind to the bike or light housings.

I have zero affiliation with Amazon or the bulb manufacturer, I just gave them a try since I knew they worked with the picky CANBUS system in my Sprinter van. Hope this helps someone else.

Love it - but Can you attach the PN? I can't find any of this that says it fits my bike. 2012 GSA
