Installed the Fuel sensor tech strip today. Calibrated first try. Thought something might be amiss but a few hundred feet down the road and fuel level registered. MPG, and range working correctly. We will see, time will tell.
Shout out to Motohank for the quick shipping and great service! McMaster-Carr has fuel resistant shrink tubes, a bit large for the small diameter wires but I doubled them up and they tightened up nice. McMaster has exceptional shipping too.

How has the fuel sensor held up? ...and any notes on the calibration procedure? The only video I found was in Spanish.

All good. No problems with calibration, as mentioned it took a couple hundred feet to register. Happy with the results. So far, so good.
Motohank will answer any questions and give suggestions as to install and calibration.

I've successfully converted my fuel strip to fuel float on my 2007 GSA. I went a different route though, as I wanted to do it the hard way and figure it out on my own somewhat. The BMW float assembly was too expensive, so I purchased a fuel float off Ali Express for $12.30 for a Hyundai car (part number 94460-0w000). The mounting face needed to be updated in order to mount it to the side of BMW fuel pump assembly, so a made a converter piece in CAD and printed it on a 3D printer.

The float rod had to be modified to match the BMW float rod, so I took a 2.5 mm X 500mm stainless rod and bent it to match the BMW float profile. I install the completed assembly into the fuel tank to ensure that it would travel from bottom to top with no interference. All good.

My 2007 GSA came installed with a ZFE Basic module, which didn't have the "INDUCTIVE FUEL SENSOR" option in MotoScan. I tried it anyway, but no go. I purchased a ZFE High unit out of a 2009 GSA on Ebay for $27, installed it and ensure that all of the coding options matched my ZFE Basic module settings.

I made the wire changes as outlined earlier in this string, plugged everything in and gave her a go. Viola, success! Fuel gauge is now recognizing the new float assembly.

Hi, I really like your idea with the 3D-printed adapter for the fuel level sensor. Unfortunately, I also experienced a failure of the measuring strip. Could you share the STL or CAD file? I wanted to make a similar adapter, but unfortunately, I don't know the dimensions. Would you be able to help with this?
