Replaced my Dunlop Trailmax missions at just under 11K.
Probably could have gotten another 3-4k out of the rear, definately out of the front, but didn't want to push it on trip.
Overall very satisfied with them. Handle most terrains well. Still not a fan of the front in lose stuff.
This time I installed a Trailmax Mission on the rear and a Mitas E0-7+ on the front.

I have a brand new rear Mission sitting here in my garage anxiously awaiting it's partner who's arrival isn't until early October. All of the major online dealers are out of stock on the front size 120/70 19 which is the size for a GS. Sufferin' in NC

I removed my Trailmax Mission tires from the GSA yesterday after 8,200 miles. Still quite a bit of tread remains.
I re-installed a set of the OEM Bridgestones for a 3,000 pavement run to Oregon and back next week. No reason to burn off the TMM tread on the paved highways and byways. I've never gotten 8,200 miles on any motorcycle tire in my 165,000 miles of riding, color me quite pleased and mark me as a fan.

Most years riding my GSA I spend more time off blacktop than on. I have been riding a GSAs for almost 15 years and over that time I have tried the majority of the more aggressive tires. I had never gotten more than 4,000 on a rear tire until using a Dunlop Trailmax Mission Adventure tire. Some facts:
10/23 original tread depth
6/32 after 12,700 miles
3/32 left of tread to wear indicator
Based upon usage that would be another 9,525 miles

I'm impressed with the wear of the tire. I'm also very happy with the grip in the vast majority of riding I do. That riding included rocks, ledges and climbs in the Ozarks as well as the Smokey Hill 500, gravel all over the mid-west and sand/pea gravel in the Texas Hill Country and Wisconsin. I have made it through mud but that is where it preformed the weakest.

I don't like the Trailmax front tire. It is doesn't have the bite I want and is loud so I have matched it with a TKC 80 front.

Im on my second set of Mission Trailmax tires. I got 12K on my last set and I just passed 12 on my second set. My only grip is ... with age the tires seem to loose some of it wet road performance. Other than that I'm very happy. I just ordered another set.

I just wanted to relay my experience with the Trailmax Mission’s I just installed on the bike. My first ride was instantly somethings wrong. A significant side to side wobble at 45 to 75 mph. My BMW dealer installed the tires. I rode it straight to them. They confirmed that I had put the tires on the bike correctly and that they were balanced. This was as they were closing on Sat and would not be open until Tues. Being impatient and extremely frustrated with what the new tires were doing, I took the front wheel to my Cycle Gear dealer. He confirmed the balance indicated 0 grams and the tire was mounted with the yellow dot at the valve stem. You could visually see the side to side wobble when he spun the tire to check balance. We decided to break the bead and spin the tire 180 deg. When we did that the tire balanced with 1/4oz less weight. The tire spun noticeably truer. When riding now the front end is smooth and vibration free, what I would have expected a new tire to be. The BMW dealer tried to tell me that going from a street tire(Roadsmart 3’s) to the Trailmax Mission’s there was going to be a different type ride. Thank goodness I didn’t listen to them.

My buddy put a set on his GSA and ran fine mounted with the yellow dot at the stem. Mine didn’t and I had the same problems as Sherman describes. That would tell me that, at least this tire is rotational position dependent on the rim. If I had a machine, I could spin it 1/8 to 1/4 turn in either direction and might be able to improve on it further. I am just so happy to have it normal, I can live with that.
Thank you so much for this post. I just had the wobble problem on a newly-installed Trailmax Mission front tire, in-SANE wobble at higher speeds on my 2015 R1200GSA, which had never done anything of the sort before. Took it back to my BMW mechanic who'd installed the tire, asked him to do the 1/8-1/4 rotation of the tire on the rim & rebalance, and voila!... problem solved. I don't know what I would have done without that advice... living with that wobble was not an option. Thanks again, it was a lifesaver.

Airing these down into the 20s on a GS/GSA is the dumbest, stupidest thing I have ever heard. Do your physics people! You all deserve the wobble if you do!
Hmm, I've never experienced any wobble when riding single tracks or more challenging off-pavement forest roads which is the only place I air my tires down is when I expect to encounter traction problems. However, once upon a time I'd aired down to ride some single track in PA and my slime pump crapped out on me. My road trip 30 miles to a convenient air pump wasn't a problem and I feel I could have ridden my 20something psi tires all the way home without a problem. Not that great for the tires with increased heat building up but can be done.
