New guy here with a question regarding tail light modulators/flashers. I did a search and didn't find any recent posts. I am considering adding this to my 2016 r1200GS. I would like advice on this subject. Thank you in advance.
cool! let us know. Maybe you could ask the techs over there what is required to do it? Is it software, hardware, firmwear upgrade, or some switch, or "secret" pressing of a certain sequence of buttons. You can't find out any of that. There's a black hole of information about it. It could be a DIY job, or not.If I can get it turned on while in Europe, perhaps just telling my dealer that I have had that done and don't change it will be enough. I assume the worst might be a fix it ticket when I return to the USA and I'm good with that.
Did they give you any idea how to turn it on, or just a deer in the headlights look?so I went in today to finalize my paperwork and asked about that listing "control brake light", and it is indeed the dynamic brake light which is part and parcel with ABS Pro.
Is this too good to be true? $6.99 delivered? Has anyone installed this device? This is my brake light mod.
I have a R1200GS 2010, with the led brake light
I have bought this brake light flasher.

Its easy to attach into the wireing. When the brake lever is applied, the led brake light gives four short flashes,
followed by four slower flashes, and then goes steady on. The canbus generates no fault code :wink2:
